About Us

Hello, we are so glad you’ve visited our shop. We are Petit Saints, family of 9, soon to be 10! 

Our shop opened in October of 2022 after I made a little Mary doll for my daughter’s first birthday. A few friends asked if I would also make them some saint dolls, and pretty soon, I had a little doll business. I didn’t realize how much I enjoyed sewing dolls and needed a creative outlet to pursue in my free time. My favorite part of the business is sending a doll off to a new home and seeing the happy faces that hold them. Encouraging love for Our Lord and His Blessed Mother, along with our Patron Saints, is the most rewarding of all. 

With 5 boys in our household and a Daddy who is a carpenter, one can imagine how many beautiful wooden swords we have around our house. Early in 2023, I was preparing to be a vendor at a local event. I asked my husband if he would like to make a few swords to accompany my dolls. Before I knew it, the whole crew was in the shop, cutting and sanding. Since then, we’ve added shields and several styles of swords as well as some leather accessories!

It has been such a joy to include our children in this little business. They also love to be creative and have discovered their interests in different ways.
Our eldest, Adelaide (12), has been painting watercolor greeting cards of the saints for a couple years. She recently drew and painted a story map of St. Therese of Lisieux. Prints are available in the store. She also helps with the swords and is our official “Oiler”.
Marcel (10), started by cutting out swords, sanding…. (so much sanding!) and has branched off to an interest in leather work. He enjoys making leather saint keychains, sword sheaths, and is always up for the challenge of a new project.
